1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly:

  • Account information: name, email address, username
  • Profile information: bio, timezone, avatar URL
  • Booking data: guest names, guest emails, booking notes
  • Payment information: processed securely by Stripe (we do not store card numbers)

We also collect information automatically:

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, device type
  • Log data: IP addresses, browser type, timestamps

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • Process transactions and send related notices
  • Send booking confirmation emails to hosts and guests
  • Respond to support requests
  • Monitor and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Third-Party Services

We share data with trusted third-party services to operate the platform:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Neon — database hosting
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Google — optional calendar sync (with your consent)
  • Zoom — optional video conferencing (with your consent)

4. OAuth Tokens

When you connect Google Calendar or Zoom, we store OAuth access and refresh tokens encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. These tokens are used solely to create calendar events or Zoom meetings on your behalf. You can revoke access at any time from your Account → Integrations settings.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and bookings are removed from our active database within 30 days. Anonymised analytics data may be retained longer.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (via Account settings or by contacting support)
  • Object to processing in certain circumstances

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted token storage, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a notice within the Service.
